Flexible Control of Wet Desulphurization Process Based on Frequency Retrofit

To assist in the absorption of renewable energy, coal-fired power plants need to operate over a wide range loads, which exacerbates challenge time delay wet desulphurization process. Therefore, this paper proposes new control structure based on frequency retrofit and corresponding model predictive controller change traditional idea control. This provides faster actions, thus reducing directly. And it makes original discrete variable continuous, enabling most methods. The field application flue gas system reveals practical prospects proposed simulations have been conducted verify merits scheme data collected from 1000 MW plant.
